Kids & Us Tutoring Program
The Batesville Kiwanis & BHS Key Club members have launched their Kids & Us Tutoring Program to serve students in grades K-8 in the Batesville Community Schools and St. Louis School. Teachers in these schools will help identify students who may benefit from tutoring in school subjects, and a Kids & Us tutor volunteer will meet with the student one hour, twice per week as needed by the student.

The school administrators are working with the Kids & Us committee to implement this program, and the Kiwanis are now seeking tutor volunteers. If you are interested in serving as a tutor volunteer, please click here to print and complete a Kids & Us Volunteer Form or you can pick one up at the administrative offices at BPS, BIS, BMS, BHS or St. Louis School, or as included in the August 10th issue of The Herald-Tribune. Volunteer forms must be returned to any of the schools by August 20th. Volunteers can choose from two Tutor Volunteer Training sessions offered on August 30th or August 31st, both at 6:30 p.m. at the BMS Commons area. For more information about the program please click to see our Kids & Us Brochure or contact Jan Santerre, JanSanterre@gmail.com, or evenings at 440-610-6950.
