2011 - 2012 Rosemary (Doll) and Melanie Dierckman Memorial Scholarship to the Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception Application. Click on the text or pick up a form in the SLS Office. Eligible Receipients: St. Louis parishioner who wants to attend Oldenburg Academy, or St. Louis registered parishioner who currently attends Oldenburg Academy (freshman through junior.)
Batesville Knights of Columbus Council #1461 Youth Scholarship Application. Forms are available in the SLS Office. Deadline: Postmarked by March 31, 2011. Winners notified by May 8, 2011. Scholarship checks awarded June 6, 2010. Basic Info: Two - $1,000 Scholarships are available to any male and female currently in an accredited Trade/Tech school or college; Two - $1,000 Scholarships are available to any male and female graduating from High School looking to further their education to an accredited Trade/Tech School or College; Two - $1,000 Scholarships are available to any male and female currently in an accredited Catholic High School or Seminarian School; and Four - $1,000 Scholarships are available to any male and female student graduating from 8th grade, Spring of 2011, looking to further their education to a Catholic High School or Seminarian School.
Father Herculan Scholarship. This scholarship is available to any 8th grade student who will be attending a Catholic High School. An essay is due to the Parish Office by Friday, March 31, 2011. The criteria for the essay is: 1) How have you given of your time, talent and treasure to St. Louis Parish and to the Community? 2) Explain your financial assistance need. The total amount to be distributed this year is $1,500. Awards will be granted April 15, 2011. For more information contact Parish Office at 812-934-3204.
PTO Scholarship Application. Click on the text or pick up a form in the SLS Office. The St. Louis PTO will award four scholarships of $500.00 each. In order to be eligible for a scholarship you must be a graduating eighth grader enrolled in St. Louis School and attend a Catholic High School in 2011 - 2012. A panel of five evaluators will review applications on an anonymous basis. No current PTO officers will be evaluating this year's applicants. Awards will be announced in early May.
