It is our sincere wish for each child to find some measure of success in the academic classroom. We will do our best as educators to guide and support each student to that end. Classroom Goals: Students will learn to value education… Students will grow in confidence in their ability to achieve… Students will show academic growth and improvement… Students will be challenged academically in accordance to their level of readiness… Behavioral Expectations: Classroom Rules: Follow all directions immediately… Raise your hand for permission to talk aloud during instruction time… Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat or the classroom… Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself… Be kind, thoughtful, and respectful of others… Complete all assignments “on time” and to the best of your ability… Students accepting of classroom and school rules will be eligible to participate in weekly “TEAM ACTIVITIES!” Team activities are group activities or “celebrations” that are educational and fun. Students unable to fulfill behavioral expectations to an acceptable standard will not be allowed to participate in the fun at the designated time. Time and Effort New material can sometimes be challenging, difficult, and frustrating. Happiness and self-esteem are “by-products” that result from the amount of time and effort one spends on doing something for themselves or others! The key to success is hard work and striving to do the very best one can. Success will be determined by the individual. |
