Mrs. Lyness's SiteWelcome to our class website. I hope you find theinformation helpful! A Little About ME I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade here at BPS. My goal is to create a fun, exciting, and safe learning environment for your child! This is my sixth year teaching, and my fourth year teaching here at BPS and I absolutely love it! I have also taught 4th grade and full-day kindergarten. Working with children and helping them be the best person they can possibly be is something that I have enjoyed for many years. I grew up in St. Leon, Indiana where I lived with my parents, Melanie and Edward, and my older brother Chad who is also a teacher. I have been married for 5 years to my husband Pete, who is a Design Specialist at Maxwell Construction in Greendale. We have a beautiful little girl named Macy who will be two in February. Watching her learn and grow this last year has been absolutely amazing! We currently reside in Bright, Indiana. Education I graduated from East Central High School in 2001. I then went on to college at Ball State University and graduated in May of 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Psychology and Counseling. I am currently taking online classes through Ball State University to attain my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. |
