Welcome to the Batesville Middle School Guidance Department! My name is Sherry Heck-Comparone and I am the guidance counselor at Batesville Middle School. Most students, parents, and staff simply call me “Mrs. H-C.” This is my fourth year at BMS and my ninth year working as a guidance counselor. I have held previous school counseling positions at Batesville High School and Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception.
I was born and raised in Aurora, Indiana and graduated from South Dearborn High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Ball State University and my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Purdue University. I will be updating the "Guidance News & Updates" section of my website on a regular basis throughout the school year.
