Miss Salatin's Site
Hello my name is Tara Salatin and I am teaching 6th grade this year at St. Louis School. This will be my 5th year of teaching. I have taught 3rd grade for two years, 4th grade for one, and this will be my second year in 6th grade. It is hard to keep track of, I know! I enjoy teaching at St. Louis and have fun throughout all my different grades.
I graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Elementary Education along with a reading endorsement. I studied abroad in South Africa for a month during my college career at Purdue, which was an amazing learning experience. I enjoy nature and being active as much as possible. St. Louis is an incredible environment for children to grow academically and spiritually and I am very thankful that I am a part of this school and parish. I am also coaching 7th grade volleyball at Batesville Middle School in the fall and Assisting Varsity Girl's Tennis in the spring. I am looking forward to a year full of learning and discovery.
